On the sidebar, I added a blogroll. This is essentially a list of blogs a blogger can link to on their site, indicating what blogs they read and connect with. The title for this gadget is Library 130 Blogs 2024 and so far, the Assistive Technology blog is linked. They are the only group other than ours that have posted a link to the blog in the sign-up list.
This addition to our blog's main page helps us connect to the other groups' blogs and create a sense of community. It also helps create a network of our blogs, especially if others create links. This part is also applicable to our topic of social media as blogging continues to be a part of social media with creating posts and engagement with comments.
