Updates to "Subscribe by E-mail Gadget"

 Hi everyone,

This past Sunday, I mentioned setting up the "Subscribe by E-mail Gadget." I set this up as a third party feature through Follow. It and used the embed HTML code to link it. Here, the reader can enter their e-mail address to subscribe and they can get the feed through e-mail or by logging on to Follow.It.

I used my primary e-mail address to subscribe and I got some an e-mail with posts from the blog's feed. Today, I logged on to Follow. It with my primary e-mail address and this is what shows:

For each blog entry showing up in the feed, the post's title is prominent along with an excerpt. There is also an option to share each post by a social media application of one's choice: Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, What's App, e-mail, Buffer, or Telegram.

In clicking "Read more" for the post "Gadget - Google Translator," this window opens with the button "Read full story," which took me back to the entry on our blog page.

Overall, this utility has been very successful. As I mentioned in the previous entry, this blog is connected to the Follow. It through entering it's RSS URL to help set up this subscribe by e-mail feature: https://librariesandsocialmedia24.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss

To further connect this blog to the Follow. It account, I used a small line of HTML code provided by them to "claim" this feed. I put this feed into HMTL code for this blog to function as metadata. I put this line above </head>. I took a screenshot of this section so I know where it is ever I ever need to remove this bit of code.

One thing to work on is the feed description. Right now, the default description is OK, but doesn't pull the reader into the blog.
